The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

A platform of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Business Partnerships Platform (BPP) enables businesses to partner with DFAT on investments that deliver a combined social and financial return on investment. Pollinate Group’s work, through the BPP, supports a scalable, shared value partnership that will contribute to India’s economic growth agenda whilst addressing development challenges.

Pollinate partners Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation

Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation

The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation is a global venture philanthropy firm supporting early stage, high impact social enterprises. We believe that with early funding and rigorous support, exceptional leaders, tackling some of society’s most complex problems, can make the world a better place. By empowering local entrepreneurs (pollinators) Pollinate Group delivers high quality products to India’s underserved urban poor, leading to well-being and economic development for potentially hundreds of thousands of families. We are excited to be supporting them as they grow.

DOEN Foundation

The DOEN Foundation believes that it is possible to achieve a green, socially inclusive and creative society. We are seeing many people using entrepreneurship to actively work towards innovative solutions for a better world. They are at the forefront; they dare to take risks and they bring about change. They break through old structures and create new perspectives on existing problems. These pioneers are also a source of inspiration for others. DOEN’s role is to support these pioneers in the very first phase in order to give initiatives a flying start, and thereby stimulate innovation. Where possible, DOEN subsequently transfers the initiatives to other parties to increase their impact.

Through our Community Engagement programme, and our work generally, we fulfil this commitment through giving, doing and developing, via a number of active initiatives which allow us to support communities throughout the world, as we strive to meet the challenges that face humanity. We are proud to have formed a strong strategic partnership with Pollinate Group to work towards better energy and water outcomes for slum and rural communities in India and Nepal. Arup is also a strong supporter of the Pollinate Group Social Innovation Program.
